While I loved when Kellin and Vic closed the show with King for a Day (my favorite song of theirs), a dark horse favorite in this show was Bulls in the Bronx – something about this song really stands out. High energy throughout, great song selection, and incredible fan support.

This is a gross injustice in my opinion, but one that I’d gladly put up with to get the chance to see King for a Day with Kellin Quinn’s vocals live.Īs expected, the show was fantastic. (It’s a co-headlining tour, so they swap nights). The show in Indy had Pierce the Veil as the lead in, and Sleeping with Sirens as the headliner. Thanks to a buddy, I even got free tickets. They also have a great live show, a trait that further weakens that soft spot that I have. Something about their music really lands home with me, and I find myself frequently taking a break from the stuff I typically listen to, I end up throwing on a Pierce the Veil record. As my musical tastes have matured, I find myself gravitating a bit away from the metalcore genre, however, PtV is a band that I will always have a soft spot. Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Beartooth brought their aptly named “World Tour” to Indianapolis this spring to play a show. The Egyptian Room at Old National Center, Indianapolis, IN I felt like I was on cloud nine throughout the performance and the vocals from Henning were so soothing.Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Beartooth It was pretty sweet! The crowd that night wasn't too cluttered, so we had enough room to dance in symphony with the music. The crowd sang in tune with Henning and he participated with the crowd in sing along. They also played a lot of material that was unreleased which was a nice surprise since it's music I've never heard of before from one of my favorite bands! The energy of their performance was low key but it was an amazing vibe. Everything about their set was just beautiful presented like the ambient purple light that shined down on the crew as they performed.ĭuring the gig they played a lot of their newer material including some of my favorite tracks like 'Guiding Light', 'The Letter', and 'More Heat Than Light'.

They were very professional and well groomed that night wearing what you could call 'business casual clothes'. Last year I had the pleasure of seeing The Veils live during their benefit concert for the Red Cross.
