GSE has several offices and cubicles available as hoteling space for staff and faculty. Hoteling Room Reservations (Staff & Faculty Only) After the scheduling request is officially approved, the Student Records Office will contact you with your room assignment. Students looking to book rooms for dissertations or final defenses should fill out the Schedule Oral Proposal Hearing form or Schedule Final Defense form at least 2-3 weeks prior to the desired reservation date.

At 3440 Market Street, any event with over 30 participants without Penn or Science Center ID requires someone to sign in attendees in the 1st floor lobby.Your requested room is more likely to be available either before 2:00 pm or after 6:30 pm. The Penn GSE building at 3700 Walnut has very few rooms available from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm during the fall and spring semesters.Rooms B21 and B26 have a moveable wall and can be combined. †Rooms 500, 501, and 502 have moveable walls and can be combined. For cancellations, we require 48-hour notice otherwise there is a $50 charge. Penn GSE charges a set-up fee of $25 per room per day Monday through Friday and a housekeeping fee of $50 per day Saturday and Sunday.
